On the occasion of Black Friday , next Friday, November 29th, and until Monday, December 2nd, the TOMO Clothing team is offering a committed and innovative commercial operation. The company has chosen to " share " 30% of its revenue on a selection of winter items, by offering its customers the choice of their discount level between 10% and 28%, the brand donating the balance to Secours Populaire. Fewer promotions for more donations, a way for TOMO Clothing and its customers to offer a little warmth to those who need it.

Black Friday at TOMO Clothing

This commercial operation, which has become increasingly aggressive over the years in terms of promotion and duration, is not in line with the values of the TOMO Clothing brand. Indeed, by offering timeless collections at the fairest price throughout the year, the brand has no need to destock. However, the team is aware that this is an important moment for customers who are not buying more for the same price, but who are buying to satisfy a need at a price compatible with their means. Since TOMO Clothing's mission is to equip everyday heroes who brave the road and weather conditions by traveling by bike, scooter, motorbike or on foot, this is an important moment for TOMO Clothing as well.

FRIDAY RIDE YOUR PRICE

What do you think is the fairest price for a TOMO Clothing item? " Last year, on a selection of items, we decided to offer our customers the option to choose their discount level, while being aware of the impact of each of these promotion levels on a young brand like TOMO Clothing. Buying at the right price means supporting a social and environmental model, in which the work of the current generation is remunerated and the planet of future generations is preserved," explains Céline Jeandel, co -founder of the company. Customers could choose between four different price levels and associated impacts: budget restrictions on advertising for the first level at 10%, inability to produce new collections for the second level at 20%, and finally, inability to pay rent or salaries for the " NO FUTURE " level at 30%.

YOUR PRICE - YOUR GIFT

This year, TOMO Clothing has decided to relaunch its FRIDAY RIDE - YOUR PRICE campaign by incorporating a charitable dimension. In the past campaign, 95% of weekend orders were placed with the "NO FUTURE" level. " At first glance, we could have been disappointed, but we remember that 100% of our customers buy from us at the right price the other 361 days of the year, and that there is a long road between knowledge, awareness, and taking action, so we continue to explain! " says Céline Jeandel. For the brand, the margin of French companies is therefore de facto sacrificed during this period. It's impossible to simply resign ourselves to this for the TOMO Clothing team: " if we have to share resources that we don't have, and thus slow down a mission that we care about, we might as well share them beyond our customers ." The brand is therefore committed to sharing 30% of its sales on selected clothing with its customers and/or the Secours Populaire association. Specifically, TOMO Clothing will offer its customers various levels of discounts ranging from 10% to 28%, and will donate the remainder to the Secours Populaire association. The products involved in the operation will mainly be pieces from TOMO Clothing's warmth collection to " offer warmth to those who need it ."
