The meeting of two passionate people... and the same anger

In 2019, as their respective careers reached a turning point, Zoé and Céline still didn't know each other. Yet, one thing already connected them: every day, they crossed Paris by bike, scooter, or motorbike. And every day, they encountered the same limitations.

Clothes designed for men, ill-fitting cuts, ridiculous pockets, technical materials with no style... or style, but zero protection. Why should we choose between safety and style? Between comfort and self-confidence? Between an ugly, but waterproof jacket, and a great coat, but soaked at the first downpour?

A mutual acquaintance finally connects them. And then, as if by chance, the magic happens: TOMO Clothing is on its way.

"When I ride, why do I have to choose between a technical (but ugly) garment and a stylish (but unsuitable) garment?"

2020-2021: From the idea to the first collection

The spring 2020 lockdown, far from slowing their momentum, acted as an accelerator. Video conferences replaced coffee meetings, and plans were hatched in notebooks, spreadsheets, and mood boards. Together, they imagined a new way of designing functional women's fashion.

In 2021, TOMO Clothing officially came to life. A crowdfunding campaign on KissKissBankBank confirmed the public's enthusiasm. The first prototypes came to life. Four founding collections were quickly created, each addressing a specific need in women's urban mobility. It was the beginning of an adventure serving all women who ride.

Pieces that move with you

Launch of the waterproof collection: combining rain and elegance

In 2022, TOMO Clothing unveils its first collection of waterproofs designed for mobility: the BILLIE trench coat and ELLIE pants have become icons. Flattering cuts, technical materials, and always those practical details that make all the difference.

The brand is establishing itself in the Parisian landscape: a space at Le Bon Marché, a pop-up in the Marais. Word of mouth does the rest: TOMO becomes the reference inchic women's cycling clothingAndstylish women's motorcycle gear.

2023: The turning point for approved protection

Summer 2023 marks a key milestone: the brand launches a bomber jacket and protective glovesapproved for motorcycles, unveiled in preview on Kickstarter. TOMO Clothing affirms its mission: to offer clothing that protects, enhances, and liberates.

Fashion that follows your journeys, not trends

At TOMO, every garment is born from real-life use. Because we know what it's like to ride in the rain, brake in an emergency, search for your keys at the bottom of your bag, or have to store your helmet in a cafe.

TOMO Clothing, it is this vision of fashion thought of as a tool of emancipation. A garment is not just an envelope: it is what accompanies you, protects you, reveals you.

Two-wheelers and I have long been a love affair. I was afraid to take off the training wheels as a child, failed my motorcycle license as a teenager... in short, it was not a done deal.

But today, I'm making the most of it:by bike every day, even in the snow, or on a motorbike in remote corners, Bluetooth speaker on full blast, without GPS, just instinct. If you see a girl smiling on the road, it's me ✌️

    My engine?

“Why am I surrounded by so few women when I ride my bike every day, or my motorbike on vacation?”

I wanted to undertake this for this reason: to encourage more women to take to the road, the track, the paths... and gain freedom, time, joy.

I grew up in a family of motorcycle enthusiasts. I didn't even touch the ground from the top of my saddle, which I was already starting to ride! Things haven't changed—I still don't touch the ground at 1.58m... But as my father used to say:

“The greatest pilots never touch the ground.”

I drive around Paris like a pizza delivery girl, I weave in and out of everything, and I imagine myself in the 80s. I look forward to chatting with you at the red light ✌️

    My engine?

"Why is it that when I buy a pair of jeans or a women's coat, the pockets are tiny or even non-existent?"

This is where my desire to create feminine, functional clothes was born, that we wear because they are useful, not just pretty. To move, go out, work... and quite simplytidy up your things!
