TOMO Clothing launches approved gloves and bomber for maximum cycling safety
The young brand TOMO Clothing has already made a name for itself in the world of mobility and fashion. Its collections, which combine style, technical features and functionality, have already won over a large number of everyday cyclists. Now it's launching approved equipment - in line with motorbike requirements - for even greater safety. An exceptional pre-sales campaign will take place from 19 June on the KickStarter platform.
ZOE & JIM & the essential safety duo for everyday cycling challenges
For everyday adventurers, those who cycle around town every day, equipment is not an afterthought. Zoé and Céline, the two founders of TOMO Clothing, couldn't find clothing that was practical, that protected them from bad weather and falls, and above all - an element often overlooked in specialist equipment - that was stylish enough to follow them through their daily lives. With all these issues in mind, they designed the ZOE gloves and the JIM bomber, both of which are approved.
Zoé, who designed this equipment, puts it this way: "I designed them for the challenges of your everyday life, so that they protect you and go everywhere with you. They bring you safety, comfort and practicality, while showing a little of who you are".
MEET ZOE: Elegant, lightweight, protective gloves
With their supple leather, ZOE gloves are like a second skin, providing a natural feel and optimum dexterity. The ultra-light D3O® phalanx protectors, which are EN 13594 (level 1) certified, provide a high level of safety while guaranteeing great freedom of movement. They fit your hands perfectly thanks to a wrist strap, and the tactile index finger and thumb make it easy to consult your smartphone without having to remove them.
ZOE will be available in bottle-green and beige for a perfect match with the JIM bomber. A stylish pair of gloves, ZOE will be a must-have for everyday cycling.

MEET JIM : A bomber that combines lightness, fashion and a high level of protection
While clothing is now one of the key elements in motorbike safety, safety equipment for urban cycling is still often limited to a helmet. In urban environments, however, cyclists are just as exposed as motorcyclists, and the difference in speed is becoming less and less noticeable. The JIM bomber has therefore been designed to the most advanced safety standards, passing with flying colours the EN 17092 certification tests carried out by the CRITT Sport Loisirs laboratory, ensuring that motorcyclists and scooters, and now also cyclists, can ride in complete safety.
Its oversized cut with open collar and two-way zip offers breathability and freedom of movement. Weighing in at just over 1kg, JIM's lightness is due in particular to the ultra-light SAS-TEC® removable protectors in the shoulders and elbows (50g) and back (170g), certified to EN 1621-1 (level 2) and EN 1621-2 (level 1) respectively.
Heat-sealed seams and large waterproof pockets keep you dry and your gear protected. Available in bottle-green and beige, JIM will be the perfect companion to complete your look and protect you on the move all day long.
TOMO Clothing is a fashion brand designed by cyclists, scooterists and motorcyclists for functional, stylish clothing.
Since 2021, Céline and Zoé, both bikers and cyclists, have been designing clothes that can keep up with them every day, as they travel on two wheels and live their lives at 1,000 miles an hour. "When I'm riding my '70s Honda with Céline and her '60s custom bike by my side, I think of all the features that could make our daily lives easier," explains Zoé. In the TOMO Clothing dressing room, no piece is thought of at random. Without compromising on style, each item of clothing must above all be useful. From the rain cape to the sweatshirt, every detail and choice of material is meticulously thought through and tested in real-life conditions on the road.
For the JIM bomber and ZOE gloves project, the two founders have benefited from the support of a number of key partners in the field of individual mobility: Lab Motoblouz, the electric motorbike brand Ride Cake and the equipment manufacturer Roof, for example.
